Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Foxglove Ashton Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around San Diego, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
