Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Summit Bright Housing Partners is a nonprofit housing provider in Wichita, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to resident services at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support resident services. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Wichita. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
