Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Silverline Forge Farms is an agricultural business based around Detroit. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
