Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Bluepeak Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Tampa. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
