Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Yarrow Foods and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
