Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Fernwood Ashton Foods is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
