Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Summit Meridian Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Sacramento. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
