Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Harborlight Nest Markets is a Chicago retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 48 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to shrink and waste at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support shrink and waste. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
