Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Basin Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
