Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Greenridge Timber Markets is a Oakland retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Keep stock linked to supplier deliveries at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
