Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Stonegate Birch Farms grows and distributes produce from farms near Richmond. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 702 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to harvest schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support harvest schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Richmond. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
