Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Harborlight Linden Freight is a Anchorage logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
