Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood Quarry Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Raleigh, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Clear communication between supervisors and crews matters. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to customer sites at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer sites. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Raleigh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
