Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Providence, RI)

Westbrook Field Property Management is a Providence property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Maintenance and leasing staff share information every day. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to maintenance requests at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance requests. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
