Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Providence, RI)

Highbridge Cross Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Providence. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
