Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Portland, OR)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Meadow Manufacturing Partners and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. We value people who work safely and speak up. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
