Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Portland, OR)

Cedar Field Markets Partners operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Portland, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 51 people based in Portland. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
