Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Harbor Freight Partners is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 111 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
