Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Pittsburgh, PA)

Greenridge Basin Freight is a Pittsburgh logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 168 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We reply to every applicant.
