Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Oakland, CA)

Ironwood Junction Housing Group provides affordable homes and support services around Oakland, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 731 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Keep stock linked to maintenance stores at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support maintenance stores. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
