Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Oakland, CA)

Redstone Linden Farms is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for field records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to field records at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support field records. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
