Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Oakland, CA)

Summit Granite Pharma supports drug development and manufacturing around Oakland. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 152 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to clinical studies at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support clinical studies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
