Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Oakland, CA)

Lumen Maple Press Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for print quotes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to print quotes at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support print quotes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
