Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (New Orleans, LA)

Amberfield Basin Hospitality Group is a hospitality company in New Orleans with restaurants, rooms and catering. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Promotion from within is common. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to supplier orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support supplier orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
