Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (New Orleans, LA)

Redstone Haven Markets serves neighbourhoods around New Orleans with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
