Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (New Orleans, LA)

Northwind Meadow Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in New Orleans. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Keep stock linked to lease compliance at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support lease compliance. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
