Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (New Orleans, LA)

Greenridge Nest Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around New Orleans. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
