Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (New Orleans, LA)

Westbrook Linden Health Group is a healthcare provider in New Orleans with clinics and support teams. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. We are busy and kind, and we look after each other. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to electronic records at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support electronic records. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
