Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (New Orleans, LA)

Rivermark Cobalt Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its New Orleans plant, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 908 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to machine downtime at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support machine downtime. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
