Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Minneapolis, MN)

Ironwood Sparrow Farms is an agricultural business based around Minneapolis, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Minneapolis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
