Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Milwaukee, WI)

Fernwood Bridge Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 111 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
