Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Miami, FL)

Cedar Yarrow Hospitality is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for group events, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 417 people based in Miami. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to group events at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support group events. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Miami. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
