Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Memphis, TN)

Clearpath Granite Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Memphis. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 476 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
