Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Madison, WI)

Bluepeak Orchard Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for carrier rates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Madison. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates.
