Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Greenridge Umber Facilities Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 56 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Keep stock linked to supply orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support supply orders. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
