Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Knoxville, TN)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Ridge Auto Group and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 503 people based in Knoxville. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to parts orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support parts orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
