Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Knoxville, TN)

Rivermark Freight is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
