Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Knoxville, TN)

Fernwood Granite Markets is a Knoxville retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to pricing at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support pricing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
