Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Sparrow Freight and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. We reward reliability. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to proof of delivery at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support proof of delivery. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
