Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Pine Manufacturing is a Jacksonville manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
