Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Indianapolis, IN)

Cedar Ember Pharma develops and makes medicines in Indianapolis. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to quality documentation at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support quality documentation.
