Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Indianapolis, IN)

Harborlight Union Hospitality is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for housekeeping schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 39 people based in Indianapolis. What you will do • Keep stock linked to housekeeping schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support housekeeping schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Indianapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
