Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Houston, TX)

Nova Quill Farms is an agricultural business based around Houston, and we need a Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 189 people based in Houston. What you will do • Keep stock linked to grower contracts at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support grower contracts. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
