Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Houston, TX)

Westbrook Keystone Farms is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are a family-run business at heart. What you will do • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
