Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Houston, TX)

Harborlight Thistle Early Learning operates neighbourhood childcare around Houston. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 37 people based in Houston. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to classroom supplies at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support classroom supplies. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
