Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Houston, TX)

Stonegate North Auto Group is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for service appointments, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians are respected and trained. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to service appointments at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support service appointments. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Houston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
