Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Houston, TX)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Stone Foods and adding a Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
