Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Honolulu, HI)

Foxglove North Construction is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for project schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to project schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
