Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Honolulu, HI)

Redstone Mill Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Honolulu. We are hiring a Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Honolulu. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
