Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Hartford, CT)

Greenridge Cobalt Manufacturing is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for scrap and rework, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Hartford. • We reply to every applicant.
